FAQs
-
A buying agent has your absolute best interests at heart. Traditional estate agents work for the seller, whereas a buying agent is fully retained to ensure that you find the best property for your needs, and at a reasonable price. A buying agent covers the whole market, often sourcing properties which are not available online.
Using a buying agent is a great option if you are time poor, be it with work or personal commitments, and particularly if you are searching in multiple postcodes. You may have been struggling to find the right thing, or perhaps you’ve missed out on your “dream home” and need somebody to restore your confidence and resurrect the dream.
A buying agent will save you energy, time and believe or not, money. Whilst acquisition is a fee paying service, a reputable buying agent and their value-add should be priceless and worth more than the fee itself. A buying agent will guide you through, keep you on track and ensure that you have an enjoyable buying experience.
-
Yes. If you are searching from afar, a buying agent will be able to lead the search on your behalf. Particularly if it’s your first experience of buying in the UK, it’s important that you seek the right advice; a buying agent will connect you with reputable lawyers, tax advisors and other professional contacts to ensure that your purchase proceeds as smoothly as possible.

Yes. The rental market can move quickly, particularly for those who are time short and/or overseas. A retained agent will help you find, negotiate and agree the best price and rental terms for your new home, as well as oversee the move in.

If you have already identified a home but require assistance to see it through, a buying agent can assist at a later stage and provide you with trusted advice and invaluable support, through to completion and beyond.
Once you have completed your purchase, the journey doesn’t end there. Your advisor can continue to offer support where needed (advice on renovations, sales market updates, connections with finance professionals, architects etc.) to ensure that you enjoy your home to its fullest potential.
